و فيه ناس ركبوه و اشتغل .. بس الاسلاك الناقصه لازم تضاف على الضفيره
Hello Everyone:
In order to install the Factory Navi system to a Non Navi Car you will need:
The Navigation display ( I purchased mine used on E-bay from a wrecked 2005) Make sure you have the Radio Code and the Navi Code
The DVD unit, the bracket to hold the DVD Player, the Navigation DVD and the GPS Antenna.
You will also need the Navigation sub display and the dashboard upper.
The original dashboard Upper is too big and does not have the Cut out for the display. Please take note there are differences between the 2003 models and the 04 or 05's due to the XM Sat. If you look at the unit and it has XM printed on the AUX button You will need a different part number for the Sub Display. The sub display for a 2003 will not work if you have a 2004 or 2005 Navi Unit.
As for the wiring:
2 of the plugs (16 Pin Green and 22 pin green) plug right in from the car harness to the new Navi display.

For White Aux plug I have my Ipod hooked up with an Ice link.
If you have an 04 0r 05 Your XM Should plug right in but I cannot confirm that.

The Lt Blue 20 pin connector(Connector A) plugs right in from the factory harness but you will have to open up the connector and add 3 wires to location #'s 5, 11, and 12. You will have to run these wires to the trunk and into the DVD unit
For the 20 pin Black/ White connector B on the top of the Navi :
9 of the 12 wires go directly to the DVD Unit. The other 3 are for 12 Constant Power, Acc and Ground ( You can connect them to the correct wires on the 20 pin Lt Blue audio plug.
For The 10 Pin Green connector You will have to make your own connector and wire it directly to the Sub Display.

On the DVD Unit:
Connector E is a 2 pin and the GPS antenna plugs in there.
Connector C ( White/ Blk) makes the following connections
Constant 12 V +
Switched 12 V +
Ground
Reverse lights
Pin # 11 on the ECU ( grey Plug) Blue / White ( VSS Wire)

Connector A ( Black/ White)
9 wires to Connector B on the Navi Display
Pin # 15 on the ECU
Pin # 26 on the ECU

Connector B ( Green)
3 wires to the Lt Blue plug on the Nav display
1 wire for the steering wheel switch
3 wires for the Microphone

If you are going to do a conversion Be sure you purchase the Electrical troubleshooting manual. It contains all the schematics and pin conigurations for every connector in the car.

If you guys want pictures, I only have a few before and after pics. If I email them can somebody please post them.

Thanks
